A real family oriented experience with good food and great atmosphere.

This is definitely a hole in the wall place with dated and somewhat odd decor. Menu was small for lunch, prices good, friendly service. No fountain drinks, you're buying by the can and they only take cash. I understand internet and credit card processing costs money but its rather inconvenient to run into cash only establishments.

Not fancy, but a lot of fun, beyond great service, and delicious food. Love it.

I'd never been here but a friend described it as "the best breakfast around". A nice hole-in-the-wall diner on Clinton in the South Wedge. So I checked it out.Everyone there was friendly. My girlfriend and I both got OJ, eggs, toast, meat, and home fries for $6 each! Everything was made of decent ingredients nicely prepared with a nice home-cooked appeal.

Ayep. A bustling Ms. Cathy bringing you your drinks and food with quickness, kindness, and undaunted cheerfulness? Of course!Tasty, inexpensive, plentiful diner food served for breakfast and lunch. My favorite place to get away or meet family/friends. It's that versatile. Schrader's garage is close so I often drop off my car and have a meal while I'm waiting.And if you're careful, you can sometimes hear the cook cursing at the grill....

Where else can you get a good breakfast for under $5.00? My 2 eggs, toast, home fries and coffee were all cooked just right and the service was good too. However, if you want swanky, this is NOT the place to go.

Service was great and the coffee was the best I've had in the Rochester area yet! The food was good and inexpensive but my only complaint was with the potatoes. They were on the plain side and a little under cooked for me.

Good breakfast, good coffee, good people and good prices. It's like going back in time to the diner in my hometown in Vermont. Sign on the door says, "CASH ONLY".

Good diner food. Inexpensive, simple, and relatively quick. Wish they served breakfast till they closed (stop breakfast at 10:45am) , or had lunch foods open later, but can't complain. Cash only so be prepared but can get breakfast for 2 with coffee for under $20 easily, so easy on the wallet.

I've only had breakfast. Classic "dive" diner, except it's not. It's a worker's cheap and good refuge to start your day. Food is fantastic. Deb will take care of you! Don't let the circa 1970s decor fool you. This is worth your time.

A part of Rochester's history. When you want good diner food, go to Pat's and get a cookie. Got to go early for hash browns and warm cookies.
